Rusty Minnix, CPA Approved by Senate to Serve on Oklahoma Accountancy Board

The Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) congratulates Rusty Minnix, CPA, a distinguished member of the OSCPA, on his recent approval by the Senate to serve on the Oklahoma Accountancy Board (OAB). This appointment highlights Minnix’s extensive experience and dedication to the accounting profession.

Minnix is a partner at FORVIS in Oklahoma City, a firm renowned for its comprehensive assurance, tax, consulting, and wealth management services that cater to clients in all 50 states. His expertise and leadership at FORVIS have been instrumental in providing high-quality services and strategic guidance to a diverse clientele.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Minnix has been a licensed CPA for almost 30 years. His commitment to the field is further demonstrated by his active involvement with the OSCPA for nearly three decades. Throughout his OSCPA membership, Minnix has contributed significantly to various committees, including the Taxation, Strategic Planning, and Healthcare Industry committees. His proactive participation has helped shape the direction and policies of the organization, benefiting members and the accounting community at large.

James "Rusty" Minnix, CPA, has been a member of the OSCPA for 29 years and is a current member of the Taxation Committee as well as a previous member of the Health Care Industry and Strategic Planning Committees.
