OSCPA Starts the School Year Off with a Bash

We kicked off the school year right with our inaugural Back to School Bash on Thursday, August 29, and it was a blast! Over 40 students and members from across Oklahoma joined us for a night of fun, networking, and serious competition.

From trashketball to cornhole, four in a row, axe throwing, and giant Jenga, the energy at the OSCPA Back to School Bash was off the charts! The competition was fierce, and the laughs were nonstop as everyone showed off their skills (or tried to) in these fun and friendly games. Whether you were sinking a perfect shot in trashketball, dominating the cornhole boards, or stacking up a Jenga tower that just couldn’t stay standing, every moment was a good one.

And if you weren’t there, you missed out on some seriously exciting moments—and some amazing prizes! We gave away a whopping $550 in gift cards and prizes, thanks in part to the generous support of JJ the CPA, sending our lucky winners home with money in their pocket and bragging rights in hand. 

But it wasn’t all about the games. The bash was a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow students, recent grads, and seasoned CPAs—all while enjoying a laid-back, fun-filled evening.
