Hart BrownHart Brown
Hart Brown, is an author, technologist, futurist, and executive. His dynamic, engaging, thought-provoking, and entertaining presentations include live demonstrations and audience participation with unique collaboration tools called Immersyv. He remains a trusted advisor to some of the largest companies in the world and more than 50 governments in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI), digital communications, quantum computing, and internet of things (IoT). Hart is a Qualified Risk Director (QRD), a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) who has been referenced in over 90 publications and news outlets such as Reuters, USA Today and WIRED magazine. He is the author of two books, Future Forecasting: Mitigating Risk and Increasing Profit in a Chaotic World and Online and Under Attack: What every Business Needs to Know to Manage Cyber Risk and Win Its Cyber War.

Miles Pringle, VP/General Counsel, The Bankers BankMiles Pringle
Miles Pringle is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of The Bankers Bank in Oklahoma City. He served as the 2024 President of the Oklahoma Bar Association, an 18,000 member arm of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. He has held many other leadership positions for the OBA, such as Vice-President and Chair of the Financial Institution and Commercial Law Section. Prior to joining The Bankers Bank, Miles was a partner at the Pringle & Pringle law firm which focuses on representing community banks. He has authored many banking and legal related articles and is a frequent lecturer for the Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma Bankers Association.
This session will discuss recent banking failures and analyze what the causes were.

Kyle Stuart, Sr. VP-Administrative Services, People's Electric CooperativeKyle Stuart
Kyle has been a CPA for over 20 years and have worked as the SVP of Administrative Services for People’s Electric Cooperative in Ada, OK for the past 10 years. Prior to that Kyle has worked in public accounting for over 10 years and was a shareholder in a small tax accounting firm in Ada.
Donita Thomas
Donita Thomas is a seasoned business professional with a broad knowledge of leadership, business development, collaboration, management, and financial analysis. To make a life change, she left an extensive commercial banking career for a sabbatical that developed into early retirement. Her lifelong passion is wildlife and animals, which is demonstrated in her service and support of animal organizations.
During her banking career, Donita led MidFirst Bank’s Business Banking Group and was responsible for the growth and development of business relationships in the Oklahoma City metro area and serving on bank compliance committees. Under her leadership, the Business Banking Group team thrived posting impressive profitability growth through organic loan and service fee growth.
Donita also had a twenty-plus year career with Bank of America and held the position of the Oklahoma City President. She was responsible for consistent delivery of the bank’s resources to all bank clients in metro Oklahoma City including coordination of all community relations, foundation grants, and civic activities. She additionally managed large corporate relationships in the Oklahoma City Commercial Banking Group. Before entering the banking field, she was an auditor with a national CPA firm in Oklahoma City.
Active in the community, Donita is currently an emeritus board member and former chair of Oklahoma Humane Society, a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs financial literacy committee, and an accounting team volunteer for LifeChurch.
Donita has previously served on numerous civic boards including Oklahoma Philharmonic Society, Oklahoma Venture Forum, Oklahoma Zoological Society, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation, Rotary Club of Oklahoma City Foundation, United Way of Metro Oklahoma City, Areawide Aging Agency, Best Friends of Pets, and Center for Non-Profits. Additionally, she had served on the finance committee of the United Methodist Church of the Servant along with serving in leadership roles at various civic events.
Ms. Thomas is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University. She is a native of Oklahoma City and currently resides in Edmond with her husband (Larry), two rescue dogs (Lucy and Benny), and a backyard full of native birds and wildlife.
Qiulin Liu
Holly Liu is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) originally from China, now residing in Oklahoma City. With a deep understanding of both U.S. and Chinese financial systems, Holly offers a unique blend of expertise, helping clients navigate complex tax and accounting issues. She is passionate about bridging cultural and financial gaps, ensuring that both individuals and businesses can optimize their financial strategies and stay compliant with local and international regulations. Outside of her professional work, Holly enjoys engaging with her local community and embracing the diversity and opportunities that OKC has to offer.
Connor Preston
Connor Preston is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Oklahoma, currently working as a Tax Manager at RSM US LLP in downtown Oklahoma City. Connor earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!) in 2019 and a graduate degree from Oklahoma City University in 2020. Connor has been with the firm for just over four years. In Connor’s free time, he enjoys running, working out, and spending time with his wife, Brittni.

Raychel Clark, Accounting Manager, W & W - AFCO Steel LLC
Raychel Clark
Raychel Clark, CPA is an accounting manager with W&W|AFCO Steel, which fabricates and erects steel structures internationally. She began her accounting career at a local non-profit, later moving on to jobs in the construction industry and public accounting as an auditor. She earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma City University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Oklahoma. Raychel is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). At the OSCPA, she currently sits on the Accounting Careers and Members in Industry committees as a committee member. In the past, she has been involved in a number of OSCPA projects: the Strategic Planning Pipeline Task Force; the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee as a committee chair; and the Financial Literacy and Young Accounting Professionals committees as a committee member. In 2018, she was recognized with a Trailblazer award from the OSCPA. Her favorite volunteering activity is cleaning up parks with other CPAs at the annual CPA Day of Service.

As the one being audited, questions can pile up in your mind before an auditor even steps in the door. Join fellow OSCPA member and former auditor, Raychel Clark, CPA as she answers these questions and more. This workshop will not only give a brief refresher on what happens before, during, and after an audit, but also discuss your business’ rights and responsibilities as an auditee. The goal of this workshop is to give you more confidence and speed in completing any audits you undergo with the least incursion on your daily workload.
