    Eyo Effiong, Oklahoma Department of Health

    Eyo Effiong is the Founder and President of the Oklahoma Blockchain Council (OKBC). A CPA with over 15 years of public accounting experience in the Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Retail, and Blockchain & Digital Assets industry. Effiong and his team at OKBC in partnership with the Satoshi Action Fund and the Bitcoin mining community in Oklahoma hosted an interim study at the Oklahoma State Capitol on October 4, 2023. The interim study presented the benefits of bitcoin mining to lawmakers, with the primary focus of creating an Orphaned Well Bitcoin Mining Program.Effiong is charged with OKBC’s mission to make Oklahoma a leader and global hub for blockchain, digital assets, and Web3 innovations through research, education, policy and industry advocacy.
